SILVER is a universal sliding connector made of diecast alloy and is designed for laminates as well as solid wood boards (use in hard wood boards is limited).
Insert the connector without using any glue diagonally into the pre-cut biscuit-groove at one end. Then knock it in with a hammer and the insert tool, following the curve. The cutting edges give the connector a strong hold along its entire length. SILVER could be locked by using a special glue (see required product). The workpieces are assembled staggered and slide in line with a parallel movement. The connection is ready immediately. Thanks to its fast and easy installation, SILVER can be applied to workpieces before they are transported pre-fabricated safely and without damage. Once the connector is installed, it is no longer visible from the outside. SILVER can lock the connection in one direction simply by bending a tab outward in the desired direction using the insert tool. Example: during the assembly of a cabinet, a SILVER (locked in one direction, restrained by the back panel in the other direction) connection is as strong and durable as a glued joint.
